There is another option you can use to download apps from Google Play Store. You still need to follow the steps below per previous threads to install a stable older version of google play services. Then you can log into your google account via the web portal. From there you can activate google play store icon. You can then enter the search field query to retrieve apps of interest and download and install them to the Gionee M2017.

You can maintain google apps by factory resetting and follow the steps in earlier posts. The key is to install google play store but do not download apps from it. It invalidates the device certification because google play services updates automatically to the current version which Gionee M2017 does not support. Use third party app sites until gionee addresses the error.

Update: In the USA it appears the license for google play store is now rescinded or signature corrupted for amigo OS 3.5.11 google play services. The other gapps work so far except my map, street view

In the USA we are not experiencing this problem. GMS works fine in Amigo OS 3.5.11 which is the current update here.

any other solution? or just waite for a new update for GPS that will work with m2017 phone?

You cannot block google play services APIs in gionee m2017 without rooting which is not available. Amigo OS may not allow you to inactivate android device manager.

recent update of Gplayservices collapses the google apps,i reinstalled GPS to 10.2.98 (440)version and everything works fine untill it updates itself. my question is how to stop the GPS to self update

Contacts and gmail can be fixed by making sure all google services are set to read contacts (allow always). For google play services use version 440 matches arch: arm64-v8a.

Good source for google downloads is APK Mirror. Still a bug issue with contacts, gmail.

After Amigo OS upgrade you can install google services. To be safe install GSF 6.01, then calendar sync, contacts sync. Google play services at least 102.98. Any recent version of play store works.
